Changes Are Coming

Hi,

As you can see, I have converted the site to wordpress. I think that this will be a good change for the site. It will also be easier to update. Since I have just moved to wordpress, that is the reason there is no layout on the site right now. I also converted all of the posts from cutenews over to here so we didn’t loose any of our news! I’m planning on doing a lot with the site, so stay tuned!

Former Idol says, Get Sleep!

Former American Idol Jordin Sparks has passed on some advice to David Cook, telling him to “get some sleep”.{nl}Jordin, who was dethroned by the 25-year-old{nl}rocker this week, told reporters after performing at the finale: “Sleep{nl}as much as you can because you don’t get any sleep. It’s a year later{nl}and I still haven’t gotten a whole eight hours of sleep yet.”{nl}The{nl}18-year-old, who was last year’s champion, added: “I’m still reeling{nl}from winning last year. I was totally just reliving the moment that I{nl}won. But, I guess I would say just try and enjoy every moment you{nl}have.”{nl}As for picking her favourite David, Jordin remained diplomatic.{nl}”I voted for both of them last night so I can’t really say I had a favourite,” she revealed.{nl}”I got to meet both of them and they were so sweet! Both of them are going to be fine. I’m so proud of both of them.”Source: metro.co.uk{nl}{nl}{nl}

David Archuleta Comments About Jordin

David{nl}Archuleta is now one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture and{nl}many are wondering how the young and seemingly very shy seventeen year{nl}old star can handle the pressures that are soon to be staring at him as{nl}he moves on from American idol. He is in the top three with David Cook{nl}and Syesha Mercado and has outlasted the more mature voices of Brooke{nl}White, Carly Smithson and that shocking elimination of Michael Johns. American Idol Survival Guide: David Archuleta Preps for Fame (Fox) Archuleta{nl}may very well win American idol and with that comes a lot of publicity.{nl}So how will he cope? First he’ll lean on his mom and dad, reports{nl}People magazine. “They’ve always been there to give me support and{nl}advice,” says Archuleta, 17, of parents Jeff and Lupe. “They help{nl}remind me what matters in life - which things are important and which{nl}things I shouldn’t worry about.”Jordin{nl}Sparks, last year’s winner, who was also 17, is “a role model”, he{nl}says. When he met her, “it was neat to see how normal of a teenager she{nl}still was.” She has done a fantastic job of handling the instant fame{nl}pressure. David Archuleta also chimes in on those screaming girls{nl}that always seem to surround the stage. - “It’s pretty cool,” he says,{nl}giggling. “People put the time and effort into making signs{nl}for you with your name and pictures on it! I do appreciate it. To have{nl}that kind of effect on people is amazing.” All of our American idol{nl}coverage is here. The contestants go home this week and that gives them{nl}a bit of time outside of the very scripted idol life and could make for{nl}some very interesting news.{nl} Source: nationalledger.com{nl} {nl}{nl}
