Its really good, check it out!
Former American Idol Jordin Sparks has passed on some advice to David Cook, telling him to "get some sleep".
Jordin, who was dethroned by the 25-year-old
rocker this week, told reporters after performing at the finale: "Sleep
as much as you can because you don't get any sleep. It's a year later
and I still haven't gotten a whole eight hours of sleep yet."
The
18-year-old, who was last year's champion, added: "I'm still reeling
from winning last year. I was totally just reliving the moment that I
won. But, I guess I would say just try and enjoy every moment you
have."
As for picking her favourite David, Jordin remained diplomatic.
"I voted for both of them last night so I can't really say I had a favourite," she revealed.
"I got to meet both of them and they were so sweet! Both of them are going to be fine. I'm so proud of both of them." Source: metro.co.uk
Source: Connietalk.Com -- "We were kinda mad
at Chris Brown last year for his wasting of perfectly good underwear - but okay, we're
over it, the guy does his share of charity, so it's all good. And we're not the only ones who
are in love with his latest single, a duet with Jordin Sparks called "No Air." The song
peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and is now at #5; it's been on the Hot 100 for 21 weeks, y'all!
We love it. And so do you! On Chris Brown's website,
41% of visitors voted that "No Air" is the Chris Brown song they could listen to "forever."
It was also just recently announced that Chris has been nominated for Best Male R&B Artist at
the BET Awards, which will air on June 24th. And Jordin Sparks, just 18 years old, is the
Season 7 American Idol winner has already had two singles off her album Jordin Sparks go Platinum: "No Air" and "Tattoo." Go, girl!"
David
Archuleta is now one of the most recognizable faces in pop culture and
many are wondering how the young and seemingly very shy seventeen year
old star can handle the pressures that are soon to be staring at him as
he moves on from American idol. He is in the top three with David Cook
and Syesha Mercado and has outlasted the more mature voices of Brooke
White, Carly Smithson and that shocking elimination of Michael Johns.
American Idol Survival Guide: David Archuleta Preps for Fame (Fox)
Archuleta
may very well win American idol and with that comes a lot of publicity.
So how will he cope? First he'll lean on his mom and dad, reports
People magazine. "They've always been there to give me support and
advice," says Archuleta, 17, of parents Jeff and Lupe. "They help
remind me what matters in life - which things are important and which
things I shouldn't worry about."
Jordin
Sparks, last year's winner, who was also 17, is "a role model", he
says. When he met her, "it was neat to see how normal of a teenager she
still was." She has done a fantastic job of handling the instant fame
pressure. David Archuleta also chimes in on those screaming girls
that always seem to surround the stage. - "It's pretty cool," he says,
giggling.
"People put the time and effort into making signs
for you with your name and pictures on it! I do appreciate it. To have
that kind of effect on people is amazing." All of our American idol
coverage is here. The contestants go home this week and that gives them
a bit of time outside of the very scripted idol life and could make for
some very interesting news.

JordinFan101 found a new video of Jordin from this moring. Jordin is talking about her new music video, One Step At a Time. She had to be there at 4:45 AM, so she seems a little tired. I can't wait to see the music video!

I went to the concert in Minneapolis last night where Jordin opened...and let me tell you...she did absolutely amazing! You could barely tell her voice problems, except for all the water she was drinking! She sounded amazing... If I remember correctly she opened up with

Ailing American Idol winner, Jordin Sparks of Glendale, may be singing again as early as next week.
That's the word from Jordin's mother.
Jordin
and her family were in Glendale Saturday night to honor her father,
Phillippi Sparks. The former NFL cornerback received an award for
excellence from Glendale Community College. Sparks is a 1989 GCC
graduate and member of the school's 1988 championship team.
His daughter Jordin, who's been recovering from vocal cord problems, was there to help him celebrate.
Jordin's ailment forced the American Idol winner to cancel recent concert dates.
Her
mother says Jordin is on vocal rest, but the recuperation is going well
enough that she could be back on tour as early as next week.
Sparks was picked to open for Alicia Keys, on her national tour.

NEW YORK (AP) — "Vocal problems have forced Jordin Sparks to temporarily
withdraw from Alicia Keys' tour and cancel all performances for the
rest of the month, a representative for the "American Idol" champ said
Monday.
"All of her April activities have been postponed or
canceled so she can take care of her voice properly," 19/Jive Records
spokeswoman Wendy Washington told The Associated Press.
The
18-year-old singer, whose hits include "Tattoo" and "No Air," was
scheduled to be the opening act on Keys' tour, which kicked off over
the weekend in Hampton, Va. Washington said in addition to missing the
tour's first month, Sparks was forced to cancel a planned performance
at the Earth Day Network & Green Apple Festival concert in
Washington, D.C.
Washington said Sparks is expected to rejoin Keys' tour in May.
"Jordin
Sparks is on vocal rest and is expected to make a full and complete
recovery," according to a statement from 19/Jive Records. "Sparks has
been going nonstop over the past two years and now she's going through
the normal course of learning how to manage and care for her voice."
Sparks
was the youngest winner of "American Idol" when she won the talent

last year."
That's really exciting news, I hope Jordin is recovering well!

APRIL 11TH!
Help Jordin get her first #1!
Hey guys, I just opened a new site for the tallented Hilary Duff, please check it out!
Jordin Sparks Web is,
---This was just a joke for April fool's, the site's not actually closing!
Jordin Web is celebrtaing one year online! I am SO sorry to everyone for the lack of update, I've been really busy with other things. I'm going to have a few new things in the works, such as a new layout and stuff. I truly am sorry and I hope that we can soon return to being one of the best sources for Jordin Sparks!
I'd also like to wish everyone a happy Easter!
Jordin recently did an interview with USATODAY.Com. It looks like she's going to be performing for Idol Gives Back, I cant wait! Be sure to read to, as well as check out the new picture that came along with the article!
As American Idol narrows its field to 12 Thursday (Fox, 8 ET/PT), last year's winner is having to play catch-up.
Jordin Sparks says she has missed most of Season 7 except for the first week's audition rounds.
"But since I was part of it, I've got my connections," says the 18-year-old singer, who has top-40 airplay hits with her singles Tattoo and No Air, a duet with Chris Brown. The show's producers sent her a DVD of "the top 50-ish" auditions.
"I really like David Archuleta," she says. "He's so adorable, and I'm like, 'Oh, look at him! He's so cute!' "
Should Archuleta win the show's seventh season, he'd replace Sparks as Idol's youngest winner, but only by a few days.
Three other teens remain in the competition, which judge Randy Jackson has praised repeatedly for its youthful talent: Asia'h Epperson, 19; Danny Noriega, 18; and Kady Malloy, 18. Four of the eight already eliminated also were teens.
Sparks says the easiest trap for young contestants "is picking a safe song because you're scared. I did that a couple times, and they were not my best performances."
Instead, Sparks recommends: "Go with your gut. If you think you can pull off a song, do it and show what you've got."
Sparks' other advice for the top 12: "Any extra time you have, sleep. Sickness is very easy to get (on Idol)." (Several contestants, among them Kristy Lee Cook, Carly Smithson and Syesha Mercado, have learned this lesson firsthand.)
And don't keep changing your personality. "People will get confused. If you're bubbly and quirky and funny, you be that. If you're shy and soft-spoken, be that."
Sparks says she's not bothered by the professional résumés of this season's finalists; at least three have had major-label record deals. "I'd say more power to them. They're still working hard. It's their dream."
She does wish her season's contestants had been given the option of playing instruments, although "I probably would have just stuck with singing. I can only play acoustic guitar."
Sparks is scheduled to perform on Idol Gives Back April 9 before heading out on tour with Alicia Keys April 19 and could return to Idol for another appearance.
"I'm really excited to meet the contestants," Sparks says. "I can't wait to be able to sit down and talk to them."
New Photo Shoot Picture!:
I'm so sorry that this site hasn't been up to par in the last few months. Well there's a lot of new stuff I'm planning to make it up to all of you faithful visitors. In this SOHH exclusive interview "American Idol" winner, Jordin Sparks, talks about her upcoming tour with Alicia Keys and the new single she released with her "hyper" label mate Chris Brown.
Sparks recently released, "No Air," the second single off of her gold-selling debut album. The song, which is a duet with her Jive Records label mate Chris Brown, is Sparks' third US Top 20 hit.
"[The] music video with me and Chris Brown just premiered and it's doing really well," she says. "Working with Chris was definitely quite the experience. He's so awesome! He's very personable and funny. Very hyper, but he's really cool. He made things very, very fun. I would love to work with him again sometime."
As SOHH previously reported, Sparks is also set to open up for R&B mega star Alicia Keys on her upcoming national tour. The "American Idol" winner is thrilled, though she's not quite sure how the match up came about.
"I actually have no idea," she says. We were looking for people to tour with. We had a couple of other options and [then] they were like, 'You're going on tour with Alicia Keys.' and I said, 'OK!'
"That's no problem with me. I would love to go with Alicia Keys. So now I'm going. It will be me Ne-Yo and Alicia so I'm excited about that."
When asked if she was nervous about hitting the stage with the two heavyweights Sparks said, "I don't know. Right now it's a month away so I'm not really worrying about it yet but once the day comes, yes I will be very nervous."
The three-month tour kicks off in Hampton, Virginia on April 19th and will close with a performance at New York's famed Madison Square Garden on June 18th.
Alicia Keys will kick off her As I Am tour in April along with American Idol Jordin Sparks as the opening act.
The entire tour, consisting of 30 dates, will feature 18-year old Sparks who just won the Outstanding New Artist award at the 39th NAACP Image Awards. The North American trek will end in New York on June 18th.
Both ladies will perform material from current releases, Keys from her No. 1 set for which the tour is named and Sparks from her eponymous debut.
